I’ve had an interest in it since high school and someone was nice enough to get me the Rider Waite deck, but it didn’t seem to stick. Perhaps it wasn’t my time yet. On August 26, 2004, my grandma had died, which was a major blow and drastic change in my life; I had a dream of her shortly after the week-long funeral and again on the one year anniversary. Since then I have seen everything in a different light and so many deaths have happened, mainly in my immediate family and one not related to me, but loved her all the same. I know I am young and still have much to learn about everything, but I do have enough life experiences (aside from deaths) that have helped me to see things differently, take the bad things I’ve gone through in life as a lesson and be the person I am today.
